Utterly Cheap
We’ve selected a colour for our mudroom. We chose it for two reasons. The first being, we had it in our townhome and liked it. The second being, we had a gallon of it in the basement and we’re super cheap. It’s called Utterly Beige by Sherwin Williams. 
It’s one of those colours that seems to go with pretty much everything. I’ll admit that I was resistant to using the same colour we had in our last house. It seemed much less exciting than picking a new paint. However, I reminded myself that this is a temporary fix and I’ll be able to pick all new colours for this space when we start our real renovation. Besides, it’s not like I dislike the colour, so I guess I just wanted to pick something new for the sake of it. Which really isn’t a good reason to spend money when a few major expenses, including a new roof are coming up in the not so distant future. What do you think of Utterly Beige? I hope you like it because you’re going to be seeing it in our kitchen as well…eventually.

I think it will be great! Nothing wrong with using the same color in a few rooms. If you like it, then go with it!
When we moved in, our whole house was painted a colour very similar. It definitely looks good with white trim! I have since painted a few of the rooms, but this colour really does go with everything!
