My newest “pinterest” seems to be the puffy paint vases that have been popping up all over the land of blogs. You know the ones…

I have a blue swirly vase that I’ve been towing around with me since I was about 18. It’s blue and white and swirly and not at all my taste anymore. I decided it would be the perfect canvas to attempt the puffy paint phenomenon.
I’m not done yet. I still have a few rows of dots to paint and I’m waiting for the right weather to bust out my spray paint. We’re expecting nice warm weather this weekend, so hopefully I will have a finished product to show you on Monday. I still haven’t decided what colour I want to go with. It’s a toss up between white, grey or oil rubbed bronze. What do you guys think? Do you have any crafting happening this weekend?

It’s beautiful out today….I am hoping it lasts all weekend! It’ll definitely make for perfect spray painting weather! I vote for white or gray. Can’t wait to see the final result!

Well, I decided with white but I’ve only done one coat so far. I’m usually super impatient when it comes to spray painting and I end up ruining most of what I attempt so I’m taking it super slow. I’ll post pics as soon as it’s done!
