Seasonal Photography–Flowers

22 March 2012 8 Comments

Now that the weather is getting warmer (fingers crossed we don’t get a surprise snow storm) it has me looking to fill my walls with sun soaked images. Although April hasn’t even showed up yet, never mind showered down, May flowers are on my mind.  I’m sifting through images looking for the perfect series to print and hang somewhere, anywhere.August 2010 085june 2010 331JULY 2010 551Dandelion Edited ColourJuly 9-11 024JULY 2010 552Now I just have to decide which ones I want to hang.  Do you have a favourite?  I’ve edited these to my personal liking – I understand they may not appeal to everyone.  I hope you’re experiencing an early start to warm weather.  If you’re not, I hope these images warmed you up a little bit.

All I have to say is wow. These are some seriously beautiful pictures. Did you take them with a macro lens?

I think my favorite is the dandelion(?) seeds. Seriously love them!

Hey Brandi, Thank You. No I did not use a macro lens for these. They were either taken with my 18 – 55 kit lens or my 55 – 200. Sadly, I don’t have a macro lens yet. Macro photography is my favourtie though so I need to save my pennies and get a proper lens.

Holy moly…these are beautiful photographs! I love them all…it’s too tough to pick a favorite. My top choices would have to be the first three though.

Thank You Gabbi! I have a new love of yellow so that first one is in the running for sure!

Me too! I’m using it as an accent color in my living/dining room area and in my guest bedroom! :)

You’re a great photographer! I love the 1st and 3rd ones! Even a little gallery with all of them would be so pretty!
