Milk Glass –Thrift Store Finds
When I saw this milk glass vase and bell at my local thrift store the other day I couldn’t resist. I love milk glass. It’s so pretty and simple and it looks good displayed as a collection and on it’s own. These two items are the beginning of what I hope will one day be a beautiful collection. I have visions of a great big hutch filled with textured white glass. Although I love the bell, the handle looks a bit cheap. Obviously I’m going to spray it ORB. What else would I do?
For now they are just hanging around the kitchen. I’ve already moved them about ten times. From the vignette to the window sill, back to the vignette, to under the mirror. I think I need to start finishing another room so I can stop cramming all of my pretty things in to the kitchen. Perhaps that should be my motivation to finally get the wallpaper in the foyer removed.
Definitely ORB that handle! Gold makes me cringe.

And I can’t wait to see ORB on the bell. It will be a HUGE improvement on the icky gold.
