House Tour: Main Bathroom #1

27 April 2012 11 Comments

Can you believe that I still haven’t finished posting the tour of our house?  I think I’ve only shared with you one bathroom (the ensuite).  We have six seven.  Yes six seven. We’re only using two since we’re only two people and… who has time to clean six seven bathrooms? Not me.  So,  I thought I’d give you a quick spin around one of our two main bathrooms.  Please note that these pictures were taken right after we moved in.  Before we had a chance to put the seat down.  The granite top and vanity are a larger version of the one in our ensuite bath.November 2011 559November 2011 560November 2011 561November 2011 562It’s a whole lot of ugly if you ask me.  The floor is linoleum and the bath enclosure is almond while the toilet and sink are white.  It’s a decent size and the vanity/counter top (although not my taste) are almost brand new and in great shape.  I have actually made this bathroom mine for now.  Don’t get too excited though.  All I’ve really done is clean it and add a shower curtain.  I don’t want to spend much money in here before we decide if we are keeping this washroom somewhat the same or gutting it completely.  Maybe I’ll paint it just to make it cozier while we work on the 5000 other items on our list.  Maybe.diana

I have the same problem with our upstairs bathroooms! Both need some major love and I haven’t touched them yet for fear that I will just undo it. Unless it’s super easy and inexpensive, I’m not doing anything! Good luck!

I’d go with the paint (if it’s really bugging you)..we added a 1/2 bath because we only had one bathroom here and right now neither one is complete, but both are partially functional.

SIX?! Now I’m really dying to see the rest of the tour! I think the granite is a really pretty color and I like the overhead lighting..

Holy moly, I can’t believe you have so many bathrooms…that is insane!! I can’t wait to see the rest!

And don’t worry about just keeping it clean for now. When you put too many projects on your plate, it gets quite a bit overwhelming!!! :)
