We’re Making Progress!

12 May 2012 9 Comments

A Saturday post!? Who knew.  I guess I’m just too excited about the changes happening in my kitchen to wait until Monday to share.  Thursday was my day off this week and boy was I busy!  I’ll let the following pictures speak for themselves.May 2012 004May 2012 006May 2012 007May 2012 009May 2012 012After I sanded down my horribly messing wood filling job I had a few areas that needed just a little bit more, so I slopped some on and got to work on the inside of the cabinets well I let the filler dry.  I think the shelving is going to need one or two more coats of paint before I get started on the outside.  I’m hoping to have a reveal at the beginning of the week.  But so far I’m loving how much this brightens and lightens the kitchen up.
P.S.Can you believe I’ve done all of this work without removing the dishes from the top of the cabinet? How lazy can one person be? diana

It looks great! I probably wouldn’t have gotten the dishes down either.
