Before & After Picture Frames
This weekend, we focused on clearing the basement and sheds of renovation debris, old carpets, and junk left behind by the previous owners. I stumbled upon a few picture frames that could have easily been tossed in the bin but decided they had some potential. I guess I’m the only one who thinks so because the “$6.00 for the pair” sticker suggest that they were left over from a yard sale. What did they expect? If I saw these at a yard sale I’d pay a buck each. Tops.
Kind of creepy, eh? The frames are wood though so I figured a bit of spray paint would having them looking new in no time. I finished both of the frames but only put a display in one of them for now. I haven’t quite decided what to do with the second one. I plan on putting these in my entry way – if I ever get around to painting it.
Not bad right? All of the materials for this I already had on hand. So it was basically a free upgrade! And it was quick too. All I had to do was paint the frames and backing, then hot glue the pebbles on. Custom art on the cheap.

Oh I’m so glad you all like this project as much as I do! I wasn’t sure if people would really understand why I would want to frame pebble. But for some reason I’m loving the look of framed collections lately!
