Pretty Peonies

Peonies are one of my favourite flowers. They’re so full and fluffy. I’m thrilled that we have them in our yard because they make beautiful arrangements. Yesterday I noticed that the blooms on our bush in the back yard were so heavy they were dragging on the ground. I took that as a sign to clip them before they either got trampled by the dog or had a run in with the weed whacker. I’m so glad I did because not only did these flowers produce a beautiful arrangement, they also made for a few pretty pictures.

I absolutely adore peonies. Some actually came up in my garden this year (surprise!). My mother-in-law suggested that I place a little round stand around them in the spring to stop them from falling over. It definitely helped!
Nothing make me smile like the smell of peonies in the house
