It’s been a pretty busy week over here! I’ve been swamped at work and the weather has been too nice to stay inside on the computer when I’m not working However, I did manage a quick trip to my local Value Village and let me tell you – I cleaned up! I’m only popping on quickly to share my favourite score. This tin.![]()

Isn’t it the cutest thing? And it only cost me 99 cents! I’m in love with the colours, the patter and the vintage feel. I’m thinking it would be the perfect place to store tea bags. I’ll be back later with a recap of the other items I picked up.![]()

That tin is so neat; I could definitely see it holding tea bags! And every time I see a picture of those spoons I fall in love!
Hey Whitney! They were a gift from a friend. She got them at Anthropologie a few years ago. Maybe they still have them!?

So cute! Great buy with lots of character…
Cute!!! Being slammed at work is the woooorst
It wears you out too much to DIY and blog once you get home! It does me at least.
Absolutely. And I’d much rather be worn out from diy and blogging!

SERIOUSLY I have so much thrift envy right now. I don’t want to hate on my new town too much, but they NEVER have interesting stuff. I guess I need to keep looking.
It would be good for tea but you could also stash things like Advil, cough drops, etc and have them in a convenient location (or a guest room). Just an idea!
So cute! What a great find!
Just found your blog and love it! Reading this, I looked down at the “Smith’s minted rose lip balm” I have sitting on my desk! I tried to see if it’s the same company, but I don’t think so. That said, they still make a bunch of beauty products in tins and I’m in love with them. I recently emailed them about something and they ended up mailing me some new tubed lip balms they just came out with. Basically, I am now forever super in love with them. OK off track. Your tin is a beaut.
Hey Rachel! Yes! Smith’s Rosebud Salve is my absolute favourite! I plan on using my tin for paperclips or asprin or something when I’m finished. I basically have about three applications and then I have to buy a new tin! I’ve never been so excited to spend money!!! Thanks so much for dropping by!
cool! I definitely would have grabbed that also. Great find!
