Look What I Got!
I was so excited when the notice that I had a package waiting for me at the post office arrived on Friday. I knew exactly what it was – redneck wine glasses from Whitney! As a part of the Pass It On phenomenon sweeping the blogsphere, Whitney sweetly asked me if I would like to receive a handmade gift from here and in turn make one for a fellow blogger. Obviously I responded with an emphatic YES! And a little bit of jumping around like a nerd behind the protection of my computer. Whitney out did herself! These redneck wineglasses are the absolute cutest things I’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking out of. See for yourself.
And she sent a second set for me to pass on to a friend. My sister was visiting that day at staked her claim on them pretty fast. Faster than I could photograph them. Faster than I could fill out the card. You might have a future in selling these things Whitney! And can we just talk for a minute about Whitney’s penmanship? Seriously – she should make and sell the Whitney Font! Beautiful. Her handmade tag was such a sweet touch.
Thank you so much for asking me to participate Whitney. It means so much to be able to connect with fellow bloggers. Part of the reason I love to blog is all of you. Taking so much time and putting so much effort in to making something for a person you’ve never even met is special. Only through blogging can you find such a creative, positive and supportive group of people.

I saw Whitney’s post on these a week or two ago and fell head over for them. They are way too cute. And I’m convinced everything tastes better out of a mason jar, especially in the summer !
