Entry Way Progress-Shut The Dining Room Door!
Happy Monday! My weekend was pretty productive. Of course there are a few items on my to-do list that didn’t get much attention. The coat rack in the entry way never got touched and we put minimal effort in to the floor. However, I tackled one item in the entry way that wasn’t even on the list. Go me right? I actually just used this project as a tool to aid in my floor procrastination. Either way, the doors in to the dining room needed to be addressed. Now they have been. Take a look at what we started with. 
I mean, it could be worse. Those are solid wood doors that haven’t been touched with an ounce of stain! Which made them ideal candidates for a few layers of black paint. I’ve been seeing black doors throughout the blogsphere for a while now and always thought they looked sophisticated and dramatic. I figured this was the perfect spot to try it out and see if I like the way it looks in our house. And boy do I ever! I’m in L.O.V.E.
I was dealing with pretty bad lighting this morning when I took this picture (sorry, I know it’s not crystal clear) but I think you get the idea. What are your thoughts on black interior doors? Love them? Hate them? Think I’ve committed a crime by covering up solid wood doors? Let me have it!

Hey Kate! I did mention something about doing every single door black as I stood back and admired my work last night. Yes. As we replace the doors I think I will paint them black! I’m in love with it!
