Eye Candy: Giant Chalkboards
Chalkboards are every where. That’s not news to anyone. And although I know some people are growing sick of this trend I’m still loving it. But I’m not talking about average chalkboards here. I’m talking about chalkboards: supersized. I can’t get enough of massive chalkboards. Giant, wall consuming, doodle collecting, art displaying chalkboards. And they seem to work in almost any décor situation – industrial, contemporary, elegant, rustic…dining rooms, living rooms, kitchens, studios, wherever.

I think they look good, but I’m not really into chalkboards. Every time I see them I think about nails on a chalkboard and I get the heeby jeebies. Plus the chalk dust gets everywhere!

I loved seeing the giant chalkboards in all different styles! Personally, I haven’t caught onto the trend, but I do love how they look in certain situations…aka Emily’s from Go Haus Go is awesome! I mean, she even received a marriage proposal on it!

Those are some massive chalkboards, lol. They look great, but i definitely don’t have a wall big enough to do it in our house…maybe we have room for a mini one!
