Open Shelving & Coffee Station Styled For “Winter”.

16 November 2012 13 Comments

I caught the decorating bug when I styled my “winter” vignette in the entry way.  I don’t know what happened.  I thought cozying up that one corner would satisfy me, but it did the opposite!  I couldn’t help myself.  I figured as long as I stuck to the white and clear colour scheme I used to justify my “winter” decorations, a few seasonal items in the kitchen couldn’t hurt.  And hurt they don’t.  I’m kind of, sort of in love with the combination of branches and snowflakes I’ve stumbled upon.  And to tie the entry way to the kitchen I threw in another reindeer.  Can you believe I only paid a buck for each of those?  I might go back and get a few more!  Dollarama is where it’s at!   Winter Open Shelving 1 WM Winter Open Shelving 3 WMWinter Open Shelving 8 WMWinter Open Shelving 5 WMWinter Open Shelving 4 WMWinter Open Shelving 6 WMWinter Open Shelving 7 WMWinter Open Shelving 2 WMStyling everything for winter is great because it means I get to decorate twice as much!  I can’t wait until I get to do it all over again with my Christmas colours!  Talk about getting the most out of your ornaments!

It looks so cozy! Is it already snowing in your area? I like a little cream with my coffee. I’ll be right over.

Well I don’t share your “let it snow” sentiment (haha)- this is gorgeous! I love the clear reindeer- headed to a Dollarama on my lunch. I really love the branch and snowflake theme as well- it’s classic and rustic and beautiful. I haven’t seen this area of your house before (I’m a new follower) but I love that chalkboard with the mason jar chalk holder! And I love that you keep marshmallows in jars too- such a great idea.

Hi Christine! Did your Dollarama have the deer? How many did you buy?

    Thanks Ashley!

    Thank You Melanie!

That’s so cute! Now I want to paint a “Let it Snow” sign! Thanks for the inspiration =)

Hey Antonella, I made the chalk board by painting the backing in a Ribba frame. Easy peasy!

Thank You Jenny! And thanks so much for dropping by! The dresser is painted Mountain Smoke by Valspar. It’s a beautiful warm grey.

Hey Rachel! Thanks so much! Keeping the colours to a minimum helps keeping the shelves looking clean and organized.

Hi Kelly! I’m glad I could inspire you. I’m sure your sign will be much prettier than mine!
