Can you believe that it’s already November 16?  Time flies when you’re having fun packing.

We close on our new house in two short days.

The creative side of my brain is on overdrive and I have been spending an embarrassing amount of time on pinterest and olioboard,  hoarding inspiration.

Today I put together a little bit of kitchen inspiration.

I love the look of dark wenge stained hardwood with the contrast of a warm white cabinet.

I would love to repeat the dark stain on butcher block counter tops and pull it all together with an Emperador Dark backsplash.

Of course I’m just dreaming at this point.  We have a long way to go before we get to the kitchen.

What do you think?  Do you like the classic look of brown and white or is it too safe for you?
