It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas No. 12–The Big Meal

The 12th post in our It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas series is all about the food!  If you’ve missed any of our other Christmas themed posts, I hope you’ll check them out!
My contribution to Christmas dinner this year is cooking the turkey, stuffing and potatoes.  I cooked a turkey at Thanksgiving and was really happy with how it turned out so I will be following the same recipe.  Same with the potatoes.  The stuffing however will be a first time recipe.  It’s a Betty Crocker recipe, so …

It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas No.11–Eggnog Cookies

I’m so glad you could join me for my 11th, It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas post.  I have lots of work to do if I’m going to post another 14 times between now and Christmas.  Maybe these cookies will give me the energy I need!
Eggnog.  It’s one of those seasonal treats you either love or hate.  Personally, I love it.  I’m pretty sure I could drink it year round and never get sick of it.  So when I stumbled upon a recipe (over on the recipe critic)  …

It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas No. 9–Literally.

Thanks for joining me for the ninth post in my It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas series.  If you’ve missed any along the way, feel free to catch up here!
We finally got a healthy dose of winter yesterday!  Snow mixed with freezing rain isn’t my idea of a good time if I have to be on the roads – yesterday I didn’t.  I was able to putter around my back yard and snap pictures all day.  There is something so beautiful about foliage trapped under ice isn’t there?  …

It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas No. 8–Peanut Butter Cookies

Thanks for joining me for the eight post in my 25 post series – It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas.
Today I’m sharing with you, the easiest peanut butter cookies you will ever make!  It’s a recipe I found on the back of my Kraft Peanut Butter jar a few years ago and have been making ever since.  They’re a favourite in my house and I’m thrilled they are, because they really are easy.  And they taste great too!
Here is the recipe if you want to give them a …

It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas No. 7–Winter Wonderland Photo Gift Tags

This is the seventh post in my It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas series. I hope you’ll follow along for the next 18! There’s a whole lot of Christmas cheer coming your way between now and the 25th!

I’ve been busy shopping for Christmas gifts and brainstorming how I want to wrap them this year.  I originally planned to wrap everything in newspaper, but I’m thinking it’s probably not the best idea.  I wrapped one gift, and had newsprint all over my hands and the gift.  They …

It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas No. 5–Fully Decked Foyer

I’m going ahead and calling my foyer officially decked for the holidays!  I showed you my large vignette last week and today I’m going to show you the transformation of my smaller furniture piece.  If you remember, the last time I shared this display area, it was styled for "winter”.  Not anymore!  It’s full blown Christmas around here now.  And I’m happy to say that decorating with candy canes and branches proves to be very affordable.  Which is great because we could all use a little more money in the …

Today is the fourth installment in my It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas series!  If you’ve missed any of the first three post, check them out here.
I’ve made my list, and I’ve checked it twice.  Yep, I’m sure.  I want everything I put on it!  If any of my family is reading this, feel free to spoil me rotten this year.  I won’t mind.  In return, I’ll spoil you rotten too!  That’s fair.  Right?  I could have filled the entire thing with electronics and photography paraphernalia this year!  …
